10.11.08 | Ari Brown to play with The 5 after 7 Project this month!
Great news!! Ari Brown has agreed to play with The 5 after 7 Project this month at the Velvet Lounge. We will be doing a tribute to the Bebop masters. Including tunes by Coltrane, Monk, Bird, Bud Powell and many others. The Delisfort Project will be the opening band for the concert.

The concert is on the 29th of October at 8pm

Also there is a new mp3 to download called The Change. It's a tune Saalik Ziyad wrote for OBAMA.

Great news! We will b eplaying free concerts this month and next month for the Chicago Park District's "Concerts in the Park"

Also the Saalik and Kaliq Show will be going on at the Velvet Lounge on the 6th of August at The Velvet Lounge.
